Nicki Minaj, despite recent retirement talk is currently gracing the pages of Elle magazine with a few looks from her new Fendi collection. This is Minaj’s first feature in the magazine since the Karl Lagerfeld-shot July 2018 issue. The rapper has long been associated with the brand and while her Hip-Hop career may be on thin ice, she still maintains a high profile in the entertainment space. her ongoing feud with Cardi B notwithstanding, recent dustups with Joe Budden, her controversial engagement and her Pink Radio podcast has kept Nicki Minaj’s name sizzling.

The Elle Magazine layout features multiple looks and styles for multiple seasons including both a hot pink single strapped bathing suit (summer) and bubble coat (winter). In addition there is a sultry, form-fitting body length dress, awash with Fendi branding and a striking silver two-piece with accompanying silver Fendi jacket, also adorned with the iconic inverted F logo.

If this line pops, Nicki Minaj may have found her second life in in fact she chooses to stay retired. She has the energy to make that performer to personality transition. We don’t know how that would fit with the whole raising a family shtick, but it would certainly pay the bills. Only time will tell.
