Amy Poehler’s animated comedy series Duncanville has been picked up by Fox for a 13-episode season. According to Deadline, the series will feature characters voiced by Wiz Khalifa and Rashida Jones. Poehler will also lend her voice to two main characters.

This isn’t the first time Wiz will do voiceover for an animated series. Hip-hop’s favorite stoner has also made previous cameos on American Dad! and BoJack Horseman.

Duncanville will center around the life of 15-year old Duncan (voiced by Poehler) and his family and friends. His mother Annie (also voiced by Poehler) is “constantly trying to prevent her son from ruining his life,” per Deadline. The series is written by Mike Scully (The SimpsonsParks and Recreation) and his wife Julie.

Duncanville is one of the freshest animated concepts we’ve seen, and has an insane pedigree of comedic talent across the board,” said Entertainment President of Fox Broadcasting Company Michael Thorn. “We’ve enjoyed a long, incredible run with Mike and Julie, and everything Amy does is pure genius. Having the voice talents of Rashida and Wiz join her makes this show the complete package. I can’t wait to have them all together when we add Duncanville to our growing animated slate.”

While nothing is confirmed, the program will likely be added to Fox’s current animation block that features popular programs like Family Guy and The Simpsons. Duncanville is slated to debut as a part of the 2019-2020 season.
