After a long hiatus Ciara has returned with a banger “Level Up’ Inspired by a previous statement she made about evolving and growth. The song, sampled from the infamous “fuck it up”, Level Up sparked a social media frenzy with the #LevelUpChallenge which comes right off the heels of #InMyFeelingsChallenge #DoTheShiggy in which Ciara participated. Thousands of videos went up from people around the world transcending race/religion and region all to do the #LevelUpChallenge but it would be a father in New Jersey who would be declared the winner. As many others 34 year old Kenny Thomas recorded a video of him dancing to level up alongside his son, Kristian who was diagnosed with leukemia June 19th in a crib but unlike others it wasn’t for the challenge itself but a celebration of his son beating the 1st round/level of Chemo. The video went viral with over 2.7 million views giving him visibility on local networks as fans repeatedly tagged the singer to the video. Eventually Ciara took notice and decided to pop up at Kenny’s dance studio Ironically named Level dance studio in New Jersey. Kristian is currently said to be in remission.
