Angela Simmons’ ex-fiance, Sutton Tennyson, was reportedly shot and killed in his Atlanta home late Saturday afternoon (Nov. 2).

According to 11Alive.com, “a man was found shot to death in the garage of a home in southwest Atlanta on the 600 block of Jewel Drive SW.” Police believe Sutton “was shot after a dispute between three people.”

All those connected with the shooting have been identified and there are no suspects at large.

Mayor Michael O’Connor with Atlanta Police said the house was under renovation and it’s unclear if the victim lived at the home or might have been working there.

Sutton was reportedly convicted as a felon and served time in the Fulton County Jail for carrying a concealed gun in 2000. He also faced charges of credit card forgery, identity theft, drug possession, and police obstruction before his release from the Georgia Department of Corrections.

On April 26, 2016, Simmons took to her Instagram account to announce her engagement to her then businessman fiance. The couple welcomed their son Sutton Joseph Tennyson five months later. Simmons,  31-year-old later opened up about her decision to be a single mother on Season 4 of Growing Up Hip-Hop. The couple welcomed their son Sutton Joseph Tennyson five months later.

At the publishing of this article, no arrests have been made.
