Although Cardi B’s Birthday is officially October 11th, her husband OFFSET had her rare present dropped off to their Atlanta house on Friday night.
The rapper revealed in a video shared on Instagram and Twitter that he was able to snatch the first of the 2019 LAMBORGHINI URUS in America. It’s not enough to have money in the world when many people who buy Lamborghini have money. This is the efforts of connections and a reflection of their white hot status in pop culture.
The Lamborghini Urus is not actually the first Lambo truck (Lamborghini LM002 seen in FAST & FURIOUS) but it is the first Lamb to sport a V8 since 1988.
641 hp is distributed to all four wheels by the twin turbocharged 4.0 liter V8 also found in other high end offerings from the VW family, the Panamera and some Bentley’s. This version of course has been retuned specifically by Lamborghini with custom cylinder heads and other demon tweaks they’re keeping under their hat.
The SUV has an electronic top speed govern of 190mph and reaches 0-62mph at 3.2 seconds. Before you think this truck is a mall crawler it boasts 627 lb-ft of torque at 2,250 rpms (that’s almost at idle.)
The transmission is a marvelous ZF Unit which uses a TORSEN center differential made famous by racing Audi which can send up to 70% of the engines power to the front or 87% to the rear wheels while still torque vectoring (sending power to the wheel with traction and taking away power from the wheel that’s slipping) with those same rear wheels. Add a rear wheel steering system to that and you have the most capable SUV seemingly ever made for the street.
The price? Starts at $200,000 USD like most Lamborghini models but are directly tied to supply and demand. OFFSET or his dealer had to have been on the buyers list before anyone else in America and had to have owned a Lamborghini previously to qualify as a buyer for this rare model.
