On Thursday, Jennifer Lopez spoke with Entertainment Tonight during a surprise appearance at a Miami screening of her new flick Hustlers, where she played mostly coy about her upcoming nuptials to beau Alex Rodriguez.<\/p>\n
The former MLB player hinted during a recent appearance on Strahan, Sara and Keke that it was \u201cgonna be a long flight\u201d to reach their wedding location, but Lopez told ET that they \u201cdon\u2019t know yet\u201d and joked that her fianc\u00e9 was \u201cjust saying things.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re talking about it, but we don\u2019t have any firm plans. We\u2019re talking about a lot of places but I don\u2019t know yet,\u201d said the actress and singer, 50, adding that they haven\u2019t narrowed down a date yet either.<\/p>\n
But one thing that\u2019s definitely set in stone? The ceremony will involve Lopez\u2019s 11-year-old son, Maximilian \u201cMax\u201d David, whom the star said \u201cof course\u201d would be walking her down the aisle. (Lopez is also mom to Max\u2019s twin sister Emme Maribel, both of whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.)<\/p>\n
Emme, Max and Rodriguez\u2019s two daughters \u2014 Ella Alexander, 11, and Natasha Alexander, 14 \u2014 have always been an important part of the couple\u2019s relationship. This past March, a source told PEOPLE that the kids will \u201cdefinitely\u201d play a huge role in their upcoming wedding.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor them both, they are still all about their family with the four kids. Their initial strong attraction for each other would have quickly faded if they had not been able to come together as a family,\u201d the insider close to Lopez and Rodriguez, 44, said. \u201cTheir kids all accepted each other and got along from the beginning.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s always tricky when you merge families, but Jennifer and Alex did a great job from the start,\u201d the source added. \u201cThe kids are amazing together. And they have wanted Jennifer and Alex to get married for a long time. They will all definitely be a huge part of the wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n
Although the source said that \u201cthere were talks about an engagement from early on,\u201d Lopez then \u201crealized that she wanted to live more in the moment\u201d and \u201cenjoy what they have together with the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n
The happy couple announced their engagement in March and shared matching photos of the bride-to-be wearing her stunning diamond engagement ring as Rodriguez romantically held her hand.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe said yes,\u201d Rodriguez wrote, while Lopez simply captioned the same image with eight black heart emojis.<\/p>\n
