{"id":4297,"date":"2019-01-26T12:45:14","date_gmt":"2019-01-26T17:45:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lovepeacenslander.com\/?p=4297"},"modified":"2019-01-26T12:45:14","modified_gmt":"2019-01-26T17:45:14","slug":"kanye-being-sued-for-not-paying-for-fabrics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lovepeacenslander.com\/index.php\/2019\/01\/26\/kanye-being-sued-for-not-paying-for-fabrics\/","title":{"rendered":"KANYE BEING SUED FOR NOT PAYING FOR FABRICS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KANYE WEST\u00a0and his company, which creates his famed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/style\/kanye-west-gives-ugandan-orphans-yeezys\/\">Yeezy sneakers,<\/a>\u00a0are being sued for allegedly withholding more than $600,000 from a Japanese company who was providing fabrics for his line.<\/p>\n<p>Toki Sen-I Co. filed the lawsuit against West and Yeezy Apparel, LLC. on Thursday, claiming that the 41-year-old rapper attempted to cheat them out of money by creating a fake company, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/theblast.com\/kanye-west-fraud-fabric-japanese-yeezy-sneakers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">court documents obtained<\/a> by <em>The Blast.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Japanese knitted fabric supplier, who said it began working with West in 2015, explained that problems arose when it requested a down payment for a large order of various fleece fabrics in June 2018, which West never provided.<\/p>\n<p>According to the company, the \u201cI Like It\u201d rapper later announced he would not be paying for the fabrics at all, which totaled $624,051, and refused to compromise over the many payment plans that were offered by Toki Sen-I.<\/p>\n<p>The company also claim Yeezy Apparel is a \u201csham,\u201d operating without capital assets or member interest, and believe West runs the clothing and shoe company in a compromising manner to benefit himself.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives for West did not immediately respond to PEOPLE magazine\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KANYE WEST\u00a0and his company, which creates his famed\u00a0Yeezy sneakers,\u00a0are being sued for allegedly withholding more than $600,000 from a Japanese company who was providing fabrics for his line.
