It\u2019s very complicated, but according to the docs \u2026 Duane had hundreds of thousands of dollars coming in from a clothing store and a real estate investment, but didn\u2019t disclose that info in bankruptcy documentation.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Officials say they became privy of Duane\u2019s shady financial moves after Tisha\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2018\/02\/22\/martin-star-tisha-campbell-martin-files-for-divorce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>filed for divorce<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0from him in February and discovered her estranged hubby \u201cconcealed\u201d and \u201cdiverted valuable assets\u201d in their bankruptcy case.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Specifically, the docs say Duane used a $1.4 million loan he got from his friends, Will and Jada, through their company to buy a home and sell it later for a million dollar profit \u201cwith the intention of pocketing the sales.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>While officials don\u2019t accuse the Smiths of any wrongdoing \u2026 they allege the loan was part of a larger \u201csham\u201d by Duane.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Officials are asking for Duane\u2019s discharge of debts \u2014 which was granted in the bankruptcy case \u2014 to now be revoked \u2026 and for him to turn over the cash he\u2019s been hiding.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>As we reported \u2026 Tisha also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2018\/06\/22\/martin-tisha-campbell-martin-divorce-case-wants-husband-punished\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>wants money from Duane<\/strong><\/a>, claiming in June divorce docs that he hid money during their marriage.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Sources close to Tisha tell TMZ \u2026 she tried to convince Duane to tell the truth but in the end, she had to reveal her findings to \u201cavoid jail and be there for their two children.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We have reached out to Duane \u2026 so far, no word back.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This is messy.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Duane Martin, estranged husband of\u00a0Tisha Campbell-Martin, allegedly scammed their bankruptcy caseand hid a loan from good friends Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. via TMZ: Bankruptcy officials claim\u00a0Duane Martin\u00a0hid money for years from several different sources \u2026 even though he and Tisha filed for bankruptcy in January 2016.
