Tekashi69 is in some serious hot water, and now the rapper may get locked up for years right in the middle of his career taking off.
A spokesperson for the Manhattan’s D.A. Office said they are recommending 1-3 years behind bars in a state prison for Tekashi and claiming the rapper violated the terms of his plea agreement after he pled guilty to one count of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance.
The “FEFE” rapper cut the plea deal back in 2015, and a big part of his conditional release was to stay out of trouble.
Officials point out that he was arrested in both Houston and Brooklyn, and feel that he has not held up his terms of the agreement.
Being extremely clear, the letter to the judge by prosecutors says, “Defendant has had over two years to demonstrate to this Court that the role he played in the sexual exploitation of a thirteen-year-old child was an aberration in his otherwise law abiding life. He has failed to do so.”
