Singer Kelis has finally sold her Los Angeles property, after knocking $500,000 off the original asking price, subsequently accepting a more modest bid of $1.699million.
The star — who shot to fame with her anthemic hit Caught Out There in 1999, before enjoying further success with such tracks as Milkshake, Bossy and Millionaire — initially put the property on the market for $2.195 million.
However, the 3,850-square-foot Glendale home — which comes complete with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a swimming pool and breathtaking mountains view — had languished on the market since September last year.
